Mirko Mazzoleni was born in Ponte San Pietro (BG), Italy, on 12th October 1989.

He received the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2011 from University of Bergamo (Italy) and the Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2014, with a thesis about algorithms for fault detection of electromechanical actuators in the aerospace environment. From February 2014 to August 2014 he worked in Same-Deutz Fahr, developing and testing software for the electronic control units of agricultural tractors. He obtained is Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences in March 2018 at University of Bergamo. He is currently assistant professor (RTD-B) at the same University.
