Yamuna Maccarana was born in Bergamo, Italy, on February 10th, 1992.

In July 2015 she got a Master’s Degree cum laude in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Bergamo, discussing a thesis about modeling, identification and control of a test bench for fault detection of aeronautical electro-mechanical actuators.

In October 2015 she started her Ph.D. program in Engineering and Applied Sciences at Università di Bergamo.
