Gabriele Maroni

Gabriele Maroni was born in Bergamo, Italy, on 6th May 1988. He received the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2013 and the Master Degree cum laude in 2016 from Università degli Studi di Bergamo (Italy), discussing a thesis about particle filter-based algorithms for fault detection of electromechanical actuators in the aerospace environment. From April 2016 to September 2016 he worked as junior Data Scientist at Target Reply in Milan. From October 2016 he joined the Ph.D. program in Engineering and Applied Sciences at Università degli Studi di Bergamo. His research activity is based on methodologies taken from Machine Learning and Control Theory fields and applied mainly in Finance and in Computer Vision.
