Antonio Russo is an associate professor of automatic control at Università degli Studi di Bergamo. He received the bachelor’s and master’s degree’s summa cum laude in Computer Science Engineering and the Ph.D. in Industrial and Information Engineering from Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in 2015, 2017, and 2021, respectively, where he has been an assistant professor from 2022 to 2024. From January to June 2019, he was with the Coordinated Science Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, US, and from July to October 2024 he was with the Centro Internacional Franco Argentino de Ciencias de la Información y de Sistemas, in Rosario, Argentina. Since 2022 he has been member of the conference editorial board of the European Control Association. At present, he is Associate Editor of the Franklin Open journal. His research interests include stability analysis of nonlinear switched and hybrid systems, sliding mode control and control of power systems in the framework of aircraft electrification.
